First, since your system is not hosted at one location, this scenario does not affect any remote locations or users.

In a Cloud based system where the “Cloud” is actually hosted in one or possibly two locations, you can experience a failure of the hosting service. This will basically have the effect of shutting down your phones even though everything appears OK in your building.
